Does it Count as Volunteer Work When You’re Having Such a Great Time?

One of my personal goals for this year is to participate in more volunteer hours than I did last year. Lucky for me, my company makes it pretty easy. We have a program called 2080; that’s how many hours one full-time employee works in a year. However, instead of hiring just one employee doing volunteer work full time, we are each challenged as individuals to contribute hours towards this collective goal. The Tiny Test

The Tiny Test in Squamish is held on the Sunday after the Test of Metal. The turn out is about the same! There are likely 300+ kids ages 2-8, (plus all the parents) that participate in the free event where two category’s of riders race around the Nesters and Corsa Bike shop’s parking lot.

The categories are peddle bike and run bike.

In Squamish, a run bike is the bike of choice for most all the kids who are “serious” about riding! Both my > MORE
