I like to fill my days with adventures. The adventures can be small, like taking a new route to walk my dog, and other times they’re more involved, finding a new river to paddle, mountain to ski or trail to ride. ‘The joy is in the journey.’ And the only thing better than the excitement of a new adventure is having great friends to share them with.

I didn’t grow up with a picture of my wedding in my mind, but if you would have told me I would get married in the snow in February I never would have believed it.

Mar 05 Why I became a Lolё friend

I love the sport of freestyle kayaking. It’s like being able to do gymnastics in the water. Playing with a medium that is constantly in motion, something not many sports do. But to be safe on the water it is important to wear certain essential pieces of gear: a helmet, a lifejacket and a spray skirt. Not to mention when it’s cold, a drytop and some insulating layers too.
